Hello, according to your complaints it may some hemorrhagic fever, now a days more commonly the dengue fever is present, first you go for blood examination for platelet count.
Dengue fever can be difficult to diagnose because its symptoms overlap with those of many other viral illnesses, such as West Nile virus and chikungunya fever. In 2011, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a blood test to diagnose people with dengue fever, called the DENV Detect IgM Capture ELISA.
Recognition of Dengue fever
- Sudden onset of high fever
- Severe headache (mostly in the forehead)
- Pain behind the eyes which worsens with eye movement
- Body aches and joint pains
- Nausea or vomiting
Recognition of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF)
- Symptoms similar to dengue fever plus, any one of the following:
- Severe and continuous pain in abdomen
- Bleeding from the nose, mouth and gums or skin bruising
- Frequent vomiting with or without blood
- Black stools, like coal tar
- Excessive thirst (dry mouth)
- Pale, cold skin
- Restlessness, or sleepiness.
YOU CONSULT YOUR FAMILY DOCTOR FOR FURTHER PROCEDURES.
