What Causes Red Rashes On Legs And Fainting While Suffering From Memory Loss?
I have severe joint pain, ibs ,migraines memory loss and recently found red splotches on mu legs. I have also recently passed out because of the pain, I am being treated for fibro but I never heard of anyone passing out or having a rash on their legs Newmie783@ comcast.net
Red patches on your legs may be due to the following: 1) Irritant contact dermatitis 2) Allergic contact dermatitis 3) Insect bite 4) Petechial rash
Passing out may be due to: 1) Migraine 2) Transient ischemic attacks or mini stroke
You may apply calamine lotion to the red patches to ease the pain and burning. You need to be thoroughly evaluated for fainting. You may have to undergo few investigations like MRI brain. Please do consult a neuro-physician for further evaluation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
