What Causes Red Rashes On Face?

My daughter (age 25) is struggling with very red and sore break outs around her chin area and other parts of her face. She has been on antibiotic creams and has spent a lot of money on other skin care products. Is hydrocortisone a hood product to use?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for red rashes on face of your daughter.

After analyzing your query it appears that you have not consulted a dermatologist het and your daughter is applying all the creams as self application.
As I can get from your query your daughter appears to be suffering from either simple acne or an specific entity known as rosacea.

In all such cases it requires proper analysis and treatment from a dermatologist to differentiate and diagnose the two entities.

I suggest you to not use hydrocortisone as is steroid cream which can harm the skin on self application and can cause dependence.

You can take further guidance from a dermatologist in case if the condition is not resolved.
Take care.
