Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Red Rashes On Different Part Of Body In Child?
My 13 yr old grandson occasionally gets red rashes, over different parts of his body. We haven t figured out exactly what he might be allergic to. Thank you
Repeated allergy should be investigated to identify the cause.Allergy to either food, pollen, fabric or any other medication is possible.
From the previous episodes and present symptoms you need to recollect and identify the cause and remove the allergen exposure in the future. Incase of a particular food or fabric ,it must be avoided.
Antihistamines and steroids are the drug which can be used. Incase of throat pain, difficulty in swallowing or breathing, immediately contact your physician since it could be a severe and fatal anaphylactic reaction.Complete blood count with absolute eosoniphil counts should be taken.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
