What Causes Red Rash Near Left Ear?

Early this morning I woke up with red rash in area near left ear....there also appeared to be a long red scratch mark in same area....next tonight my left ear lobe looks red and INFLAMED....what is causing this? Any ideas? There is no pain connected with this problem so far anyway...thank you.

Hello dear.

It feels nice to interact with you over this platform.
Its seems yo are safe relating your problem as per your history.

The rash might have due to contact with some arthropod during the sleep which has caused allergic rash near the ear. usually it subsides on its own, but in some cases in creates itching and blebs along with pain.

You can simply have Paracetamol-500 mg twice a day for the inflammation or add some NSAIDS. If any other symptom occurs as mentioned before, then please do not hesitate to take a pill of AVIL-5mg (Promethazine) and apply some steroid cream ( Beclomethasone) locally.

The zist of the story is do not bother about the condition and chill.
