What Causes Red Patches Throughout The Body After Taking Allopurinol?
i have severe gaut problem, with frequent attacks, and in some attacks my knee swells with a fluid, 4 times i had removed the same with knee aspiration, i used to have Allopurinol, but now i get rashes, and red patches all over my body by using the same, kindly help

Red patches can be a manifestation of gout as well as the side effect of allopuriniol. If allopurinol is the suspect, it can be replaced with better drugs like febuxostat. Initiating low doses of steroids and colchicine generally averts such side effects. hope i am clear.
