What Causes Red Eyes Post Intake Of Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplement?
I just started taking Omega 3. One pill at night. At the same time my eyes are red. Like I ve been drinking or haven t had sleep in days. I wear contacts which always has it s problems and I had an eye infection when I went to the eye doctor on July 11 for a new contact prescription. She gave me a steroid and antibiotic drop that I was allergic to and I was worse next day. Changed my medication and when I went back on July 18 the infection was gone and they feel fine. They didn t with the infection, but they continue to be red. The only new thing in my life is the Omega 3. Does it cause red eyes?

it may be prolonged use of contact lens causing dry eyes and corneal erosion.steroid and antibiotic drops are not required, apply refresh eye tear drop and discontinue contact lens for some time use specks earliar used by you.get examined by ophthalmologist.
