What Causes Red Circular Marks On Glans Of Penis?

Hi im 29 year old male. I have a red/pink circular mark on my glans, next to but not touching my urethra. I haven t had sex in 5 years so std is not suspected. The mark has been there 4 weeks. The skin is not broken, there is no pain or even tenderness. I have tried neosporin to little if any effect.I am concerned it may be cancer. Can you tell me anything other than go see a doctor? Will a dermatologist suffice?

Hi,

You can apply anti-fungal agents and wash that place regularly. Wait for results, if not recovered then go for biopsy and test for cancer.

I Hope I have answered your query. If you have further doubts, I would be happy to help you. Happy day.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
