What Causes Red Blotches On The Left Hand?

I have red blotches that have shown up all of a sudden today on my left hand only. My Left hand feels a little warm, and a little stiff. I drank some Pommegranite juice about 3 hours ago, could this be an allergic reaction? I took a Benadryl pill about 1/2 hour ago.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic...

I can understand your concern...

According to history yes it could be allergic reaction...

In such reaction inflammatory mediators released like histamine from mast cell or eosinophils like inflammatory cells after getting contact with allergen...

CBC can be done to rule out eosinophilia..

You can take benadryl for five days....

If inflammatory reaction more than prescription might given with beamethasone 0.5 mg tablet ...
Over lesion topical calamine lotion can be applied...

Hope this will help..

Take care..

Advise : dermatologist consultation for examination and further treatment...
