General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understood your concern.
- You are pregnant. Were advised Inj. hucog 5000 units- to support the fetus & maintain pregnancy. The bleeding you had was due to giving a break in injection . So there was low HCG ,threatening abortion. That's why the blood was red.
- This type of bleeding can affect baby's development. But regular medications do control it . A follow up scan will confirm baby's condition
- You had taken Inj HCG as per advise, which seems to be effective, so the blood stopped. But whatever bleeding is collected in uterus, will come out gradually making the discharge pink, & will stop.
- Please continue with complete bed rest.Follow doctor's advise strictly, take regular medicines as per advise.
.
Thanks.
