What Causes Red And Itchy Mark On The Body?
I thought I ad a simple mosquito bite. My mom thought it was a wasp or bee sting....my husband is thinking spider bite. The area is hot to the touch...red all around and yellow in the middle. I have no other symptoms. The mark is slightly itchy, but only when brushed on my clothing...

From this we can not make out the organism, but suggests some insect bite with reaction. Take paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain along with an antihistamine like Levocetirizine 5mg for 3-5 days. If swelling progresses despite this, kindly consult your doctor, as we will have to a steroid or rule out secondary infection.
