What Causes Recurring Sharp Pain In Ribs Radiating To Back And Stomach?
Having contaction like pains towards the bottom of my ribs and towards my back. They last a few seconds and come every 10 minutes or so. The pain is sharp and then moves towards my stomach area and I get a brief sense of nausea. This started today. I had a high fever yesrerday but feel better today. No coughing or throwing up. Doesn't feel like my ribs are the problem, but something more internal.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring sharp pain in ribs radiating to back and stomach. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like celiac disease , fibromyalgia , kidney stones , IBS, pancreatitis or angina . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist first to rule out more serious condition . Doctor m,at order ECG , TMT along with complete blood profile and troponin t test . Doctor may prescribe isosorbide nitrate along with betablockers , aspirin , frusamide . Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem or gastroenterologist for gastric problem . For now eat light and non spicy , eat small and frequents meals and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
