What Causes Recurring Scab On Scalp?

I have a scab on my scalp and I use Motorola treatment, it remains after six month's. Now there's a new one on my head. It cracks ,like a line thru the scab , when I pull it off it has like spikes on the scab. I've tried fungal, anti biotic, steroid, tea tree ointments. None of them work.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a scab on scalp that is persisting since 6 months and also there is formation of new scabs can be due to a number of causes like Contact Dermatitis, Seborrheic dermatitis, scalp psoriasis, eczema,ringworm of scalp etc..

I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and he can advise you antifungal shampoo, Steroid lotions, antibiotics Oral as well as topical depending upon the cause..
