I had right leg pain for months ,the severity has comee and gone. I m A diabetic ,peratoneal patiemt. The origin of this started when I fell down the front stairs of my house. When I fell my right leg,the quad reset took the full hit when I landed.after swing my primary doc he thought it was deep musclebruise.I try ed to explain to him didn t seem right to me. I told for about weeks after that the pain wasn t getting better so I had an mri and he told me that I had torn my quad reset major and minor. And gave me more pain meds.over the last days the pain is increasing and a red mark is coming for inside out on my right interior thigh. It s about 3 inches long.he now wants me to do an emg but to told me that he doesn t know what s going on . Can you give me an idea. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It might be the start of neuropathy if your sugar levels are not controlled. Visit an endocrinologist or neurologist, get bs, hba1c done. DVT can be r/o by a ctvs surgeon by lower limb doppler.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
