What Causes Recurring Pain In The Ankle Joint?

My foot starts hurting whenever im on it for a while, then feels fine again after i sleep or am off it for a while. This has been occurring for about 2 years now. Its the part of my foot that meets my leg that hurts. Is there a reason for this or could I just have weak feet or something?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis.

I recommend doing some examinations to confirm the diagnosis.

A complete blood count.

Rheumatoid factor blood level.

Uric acid blood level.

Meanwhile, I recommend using anti-inflammatory medications for the pain such as Ibuprofen

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
