What Causes Recurring Lumps In The Throat?

i have a very important question that im worried about because my sister died because a medication was strong and the doctor diagnosed the wrong sickness on my dad. i had a operaiton when i was younger and i had something in my throat they needed to get rid of that was under my skin a lump. now i noticed about a month now something was growing and iwent to the doctors in jewish general, and they told me it might be a pimple and it was reall hard, one day i was playing with it, and squeezed a little tiny bump that looked like a tiny pimple with no white puss, iwas bleeding i squeezed it more a whole bunch of thick blood came out , doctor gave me antibiotics before i squeezed myself like 10 days before this . and the bump went away all of a sudden i figured there was a lump of blood that was stuck in my throat but its comming back again

Hello,

Recurrent lumps in the throat may be due to:

1. Chronic pharyngitis.
2. Granular pharyngitis.
3. Warts or local infection
4. Viral infection (herpes simplex,CMV or infectious mononucleosis).

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. But don't press it unnecessary. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
