What Causes Recurring Lump Inside Nostril And Suggest Home Remedies?

Several times a year I get a lump inside my nostril, usually the left one. The lump is sore, hard and makes the tip of my nose dip down on that side and is red and inflammed even on the outside. What might this be, and what can I do to treat it from home?

Recurrent furuncle (infection of hair follicle) can be a possibility.Predisposing factors are frequent nose picking,violent sneezing,crossinfection from fingers,immuno compromised states.Avoid these and apply mupirocin ointment.
