Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurring Headache, Nausea And Hot Flashes?
I have waves of extreme flushing. Feels like I m almost radioactive. Only lasts 1-2 minutes. Terrible headache, a little bit of nausea. (Slight uneasiness). I break out in a hot sweat after the wave. I feel like it might be food poisoning as I had a fast food hamburger last night. But I ve not thrown up nor do I have diarrhea.
A recurring headache shouldn’t be ignored. Sometimes nausea accompanies it. The symptoms you have mentioned specially the hot flashes with profuse sweating are commonly associated with menopause. Assuming that you are a lady in menopausal age (you have not mentioned gender and age). I would suggest you visit a gynecologist.
As these are commonly seen symptoms due to hormonal changes, do not panic and talk to your doctor about this, she will guide you and suggest you whats the best thing that should be done about the symptoms you have.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
