What Causes Recurring Fever In A Child?

my son 9 years old is suffering from fever,all test r negative a month ago his typhoid report was positive we gave him treat ment for that after that he is fine then fever come back after 2 3 days it is repeated regularly now a doctor prescribe him lumerax want to know

This may be prolonged typhoid infection and more powerul antibitcs should be used. He should have stool microbiologic analysis again and then if typhoi is confirmed, it should be treated again.
