What Causes Recurring Bouts Of Dizziness After A History Of Aortic Aneurysm?
I ve been getting very dizzy several times a day. Just had a dizzy spell and work at a hospital so had staff member take bp it was 163/91 and I have recently been diagnosed with ascending aortic aneurysm and bicuspid valve. Don t see cardiac surgeon for two more months. Should I be concerned
Recurrent dizziness can be an alarming symptom in a patient with an aortic aneurysm, which may be mediated by neuronal mechanics, hemodynamics associated or else.
I would recommend visiting ER without delay in case of severe dizziness rather than waiting for 2 months.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
