Hello,

You have history of constipation and your bowels don't move without Dulcolax. You are suggested to drink plenty of water and stay well hydrated. Constipation triggers gastritis, causes discomfort, pain abdomen and back. To ease discomfort take antacids and PPIs, one SOS when needed.

Nausea and fatigue can also be caused due to liver dysfunction. Avoid eating spicy oily food. Stay away from trans fat, refined flour, red meat & food that is difficult to digest. Take food that is easily digestible. Prefer taking boiled food over fried food. take well cooked food, whole cereals that are well cooked. Take cooked fruits and veggies.

Avoid addictions if any. Take food that is good for the liver like sugarcane juice, papaya (ripe and raw that is cooked well). Take liver tonics like Liv 52, etc. However, get clinically examined, get routine blood tests and investigations done to detect the pathology causing your discomfort.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
