What Causes Recurrent Rashes On The Body And Dry Cough?

My 4 year old daughter broke out in a strange rash about two weeks ago. It started on her face and worked its way down her entire body. The rash comes and goes. Benedryl does not help and nothing has changed in the house. I took her to the dr who told me allergies. A few days later she got a dry cough and complained of a sore throat. Dr told me that her bronchi tubes? were swollen and it could be the beginning of bronchitis. Yesterday I was out at the store with her and she started to cry about her leg hurting her and her head hurting her. I brought her home and within 10 minutes she was laying on the floor shivering covered in goose bumps and her temp was 102. Took her to the e.r they told me her ears were slightly red and sent me home with antibiotics... Motrin keeps her fever down but she needs a dose every 4 hours or her fever is back and she is still crying about her head and her leg. The dr at the e.r wouldn t check her leg because she thought it wasn t related to her fever . We have 1 cat indoor only.

-give liquids
-use a humidifier at home
-if you don't get better see your doctor for further evaluation
