What Causes Recurrent Rashes In The Armpits And Groin Area?

Hi, I get these very big recurring lesions. I ve had them 4 times, and in the same places or the same places, but also more. I can now feel them when they come on...I get like this flushy type stress feeling, and then it feels like the spots are coming to life. I get the chills too. Then I get these lesions on my arm pits, my genitals including around the tip of penis, scrotum, rectum, both upper thighs, belly button, clavicle, my lips swell and chap and get blisters, in my nose, my gums, and now I think I m getting one between my index and middle finger...They are extrememly itchy at first, and if I scratch them, like the first time I didn t know, then they get really blistered, and ooze puss and smell horrible. Then they become open sores, and hurt soooo much. But they are also like white and sticky at first. They have all gotten bigger each time, and now the one in my arm pit takes up like my whole arm pit. They are red, but kind of brown with white spots in the middle. I ve been diagnosed with MRSA, so I used hibiclens and steroid cream, the hibiclens seems to work if I wash it immediatly when I feel it coming on. The last time I got it, I finally went to a dermatoligist and he told me it is a fixed drug eruption because I was doing coke each time. But this time I m not, but I ve had many different things in my presence lately. It happened actually this time like immediatly after I took Aleve becasue I was at the junk yard all day crawling around cars (oh and the first times I was working as a valet, and then later at a car rental place the other time, and this time a junk yard) and in the sun and I got a headache and felt week, and then I went to take some aleve and made some instant coffee with powder creamer, and felt them coming on like immediatly. So a few things I ve had recently: claritin, mucinex, zinc, vitamin c, alcohol and vinegar for ear infection, and the day before I cleaned my air intake in my truck and used some Throttle body cleaner and electronic cleaner, I also make smoothies every day with Breakfast Essentials, I took some tums the day before, use paradontax toothpaste for a big abcess I ve had on my molar for months now, and sometimes it pops with like white stuff too...I have major hot flashes, and get the chills and then sometimes like I said before then I swear it feels like the sores are like alive. Also, I ve noticed I urinate more when I have them and feel more hungry...also my hair smells too and super like dry and coarse. I ve had asthma when I was a baby, also chicken pox, and pancreatitis twice due to alcohol, and i used to do a lot of coke, and heroin, now just methanphetamine occasionally, but it hasn t happened in years since I ve been doing that....any help would be greatly appreciated. I m about to go get some Lamisil to see if that helps with the fungul infection at all because the topical steroid doesn t help....

Hi,

I have just gone through your query. Looks like you have a condition called HS (Hidradenitis Supprativa). There are so many other conditions which resembles it such as Nocardiosis, LGV (lymphogranuloma venerum) etc. Right now I assume its a clear picture of HS for that you need to take the following measures:
1) Cut down some weight if you are overweight or obese.
2) Keep your skin cool.
3) Avoid shaving in the affected area as it will spread infection from one site to the other.
4) If you smoke quit it as it can severely flare up HS.
5) Wear loose-fitting clothes.

A dermatologist can manage the severity by prescribing various medications if nothing works out for you now we have new promising therapies with medications called TNF inhibitors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Moses John Wesley,
