What Causes Recurrent Pain In The Abdomen?

Anything new regarding cause of recurrent abdominal pain. After many years and many tests, my doctors best guess is intermittent obstruction due to scar tissue from abdominal surgery performed in 2000 and 2001 for rectal cancer. Surgery was followed with chemo and radiation.

Hi,

The diagnosis seems plausible. True, a scar tissue can cause an obstruction of the colon. You have to stay in control to avoid any further complications or reccurence of the disease.

Hope you are satisfied with the answer.

Regards,
