What Causes Recurrent Indigestion In An Elderly?

I am a 66 year old male in great physical condition and health living in Northern CA, after traveling to Tucson AZ to do some work on a home we bought there, I returned home on Monday 4/11 and had an upset stomach and sore neck. This week I have not played Racquetball each morning, but instead have stayed home and rested. My gassiness has work me up repeatedly. I broke a fever last night, and today, day four, vomited as In tried to eat a little dinner. After I got sick to my stomach I seemed to feel a little better. Gastroenteritis?
