Hi,

Fever is due to a persistent focus of infection. Therefore he is suffering recurrent attacks. He needs to do necessary investigations like urine, stool and blood tests to find the particular causative bacteria and accordingly selective antibiotic would be administered. So take him to the ER for further evaluation. So that he can be properly treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
