What Causes Recurrent Fever Despite Giving Ibugesic?

My baby has fever around 103. I have given her ibugesic @7 pm ...now again she has fever around 103. What should be the minimum time gap between two dosage. How many times I can give her Ibugesic to control her fever.. should I also put damp cotton on her forehead?

The symptoms seem to be related to an infection. I suggest giving Ibugesic every four to six hours depending on the fever.
