Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

You seem to have bacterial infection of the hair follicles/folliculitis.

Recurrent folliculitis could be due to local bacterial colonization with the pathogenic bacterium, most commonly staph aureus. I would suggest that you an empirical course of an oral antibiotic e.g One from the Penicillin or Cephalosporin group of oral antibiotics for a week.

A pus culture sensitivity from one of the bumps can isolate the causative bacterium and also guide the future choice of oral antibiotic therapy.

An OTC topical antibacterial ointment e.g 2% mupirocin ointment can be applied to the individual bumps, twice daily, for a few days.

General measure like: Bathing twice daily, using separate towels and washing them daily, bathing with an antibacterial soap (e.g Soapex soap) etc would help in addition.

Regards
