General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Bleeding per rectum is the main complaint and it is bright red colour

Hence it suggest bleeding from lower GI tract
(Because colour bright red)

Causes are as follow....
-proctitis
-anal or rectal ulcer
-piles
-colitis
-IBD etc....

Investigation needed as follow :
-First proctoscopy examination to rule out ulcer, growth, inflammation in rectal area
-stool examination and culture for rule out infection

If these two investigation can't rule out cause then colonoscopy needed

According to cause further specific treatment given

Hope I have solved your query

Take care
