What Causes Rashes On The Neck And Chest While On Pravastatin?

my doctor feels a rash developed after j started on pravastatin on my neck and chest area he took me off about 10 days ago. my rash is still there i was wondering how long it takes for it to go away. or is there an over the counter med to apply to ease the itching burning sensation

This sounds like an allergic reaction. Ideally I would need to know whether the rashes have reduced or not. If they have reduced but are still present, you can just wait. If however they are the same, try Tab Levocetirizine at bedtime for 3 days. If they persist despite trying Levocetirizine, you will need to meet a dermatologist. Alternatively, you can upload a picture of the rashes so that we can see the rashes and help you accordingly.
