What Causes Rashes On The Arms And Torso After Having Dinner?
Every evening about 2 hours after eating dinner I develop a rash over mainly my arms and torso. I have stopped or changed all my medicines but see no change in the rash. I have changed all my soaps and detergents fabric softeners etc. The rash is bumpy, itchy and red . What could be causing the rash?
Well having a rash every evening after 2 hours of having dinner is pointing towards food allergy.. As you have eliminated other causes like medicines, detergents, soaps and other things that can cause allergy, so it is now most probably food allergy..
In case if it appears after going to bed then it can be due to bed bugs..
So my suggestion to you is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated. They can advise you anti allergics like benadryl ,Allegra etc for relief.. If the symptoms are severe thena steroid shot can be given..
You should also get an allergy test done so that the exact allergen can be ruled out.. Eliminating exposure to it can very much help in avoiding recurring symptoms..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
