What Causes Rashes On Forehead, Scalp And Around Eyes?

My son has a rash on his forehead...started at one spot, now spread to two spots on his scalp and a spot by his eye. Not typical read and crusty. Causing his whole forehead to swell by the spots. Not red and scaly. More like swollen, tight and shinny. After three days it is beginning to break the surface. The gym where he works out had a client with MRSA (spelling ?). Do these sound like symptoms of MRSA?

I think you can send me a photo of the rash to evaluate it. It can be MRSA and he contracted it by having a previous lesion.
