What Causes Rashes On Arms And Unusual Sensation On Tongue?

My husband has been on pain medications for several years. They recently could not fill his prescription and the dr had to give him a different kind of meds. He now has a rash down both arms that almost looks like measles. He told me tonite that his mouth fills funny almost like a rash on his tongue. I told him to stop the pain medication and take the ones he was prescribed before (he has a couple days worth of the previous meds. I wanted to see if in the morning he still has the rash. Do you think you can get a rash from pain medication. It s morphine sulp ER. His other pain med is Avinza

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, any pharmaceutical molecule could cause the hypersensitivity reaction even pain medicine also, stop the medicine and wait for some time the rash will be fine, if this does not then this can be treated with antihistamine "Tab Levocetirizine 10 mg three times in day" would be fine, hope this information helps, take care.
