What Causes Rash Like A Line From Thumb Knuckle To Elbow?

Hi. Every now and again I wake up with a rash in the form of a line running from the knuckle if my thumb to my elbow. Sometimes it s a 1/4 of an inch thick and sometimes and inch. There is no itching and I was not bitten by anything. Wondering if you can help.

Hi

You seem to have developed an insect bite reaction .

Such a skin rash can present with sudden development of linear red itchy areas over the exposed areas of body.

It needs to be managed with topical steroids along with oral antihistamines or steroids .
