Hello, Im a worried mom. I have a 15 year old boy that woke up two weeks ago to use the restroom in the middle of the night and suddenly his heart began beating very rapidly,he also started hearing voices as he tried to go back to sleep and he was shaking as if he was very nervous and scared. This happened twice many years ago, when he was about 10yrs.old. Except, that back then, he woke up startled, nauciated, and wouldn't speak he just looked very frightened like in shock and aslo very shaky. This time he did speak and seemed more alert of what was happening. Can you please, tell me what you think may be the cause of what happened to my son? He is 15,weights about 129 and he is 5'4. Asthmatic but otherwise healthy,smart, active and normal.
