What Causes Rapid Heart Rate In A Type 2 Diabetic Person?
I m an insulin dependent type 2 diabetic who for the last several months have been having a rapid resting heart rate, typically 110 to 145. My gp put me on metoprolol 25mg half in morning and other half in evening. The past 4 days, I ve noticed that my feet and ankles have been swelling. I have an appointment a week from Thursday with a cardiologist to have an echocardiogram done, but I just wondered if I should try to get in earlier?
