What Causes Rapid Heart Beats?

I am waiting for a stress test after two abnormal EKGs. 38 yr old female with no cardiac history, but history of cardiac problems in family. Been feeling off lately, heart racing with mild activity. tonight while reading to my daughter I can feel my heart racing with each breath. I just had my partner check my pulse and it is confirmed it is racing quickly for 3-4 beats with deeper breaths. this is not normal for me

Consult a cardiologist. Go for serial EKG to rule out any cardiac arrhythmia.
