Hello, my name is Karen. I have a friend who was hit in the heart by a corner of a table due to being thrown to it as a child around the age of 10 or 11, the doctors had told him that the corner of the table had punctured his heart and that there was nothing that they could possibly do. The two valves of the heart don t pump blood how they re supposed to, only the main one that goes straight to it. Because of that his heart beats faster than a normal heart would and it s hard for him to fall asleep because he has so much energy. The doctor s gave him approximately 15 years to live, he s about to be 20 years old in August 10th, my question is if there is any sort of possibility that the heart would be able to heal itself somehow? Can a person really have so little time to live because of this? Also is there anything that can be done to save this person that s very near and dear to my heart? I hope to hear from you soon.
