What Causes Pulse Rate Of 93 After Working At Gym?

I am a 58 year old woman and my pulse rate seems to be running around 93 after working out at the gym. Is this nornal when my blood pressure is reading normal? I just recently went on high blood pressure medicine to bring my blood pressure into a normal range. It was not staying stable.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Increase in the pulse rate, after the exercise, and hard work, is normal and you need not worry about it ,and if you watch by your self it will definitely be high.
Fluctuating B.P is usually normal after exercise, and exertion, more over near 60's .Anemia may be one of the causes of such fluctuations.
Any how at this age, it is advisable to have a consultation with the cardiologist, to exclude any abnormality of the heart.
you may need to have E.C.G, echo, and thread meal tests to exclude the cardiac problem.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods,to have good health.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
