What Causes Protruded Floating Rib With Discomfort?
Hi, my last rib on my right side, the floating rib has been bothering me for over a week. It is noticibly pushed out further than it used to be and is causing discomfort. It sticks out about half an inch further than it ever has. What can be done about this?

I think you may need to do an abdominal ultrasound to check liver and kidneys . An enlarged liver can cause the discomfort on right side.
