General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear- thanks for using our system, I will give you my medical advise. Varicose veins can give pain but not clot that will move up and give an embolism. It is important to use support stocks, elevate your legs when you can, loose weight if you are overweight and eat healthy. If you have to work standing , sometimes the veins can act up, so you shouldn't be concerned. However, if you have pain or the veins are getting worse, it will be advisable to see a vascular specialist for recommendations and treatment.
I hope that my advise has been helpful, please hit thanks if it was
