Vaginal discharges are of different colours depending on the organism in cause.Recurrent whitish vaginal discharges could be cause by many conditions some of which are: Bacterial vaginosis, Yeast infection, douche scented soap, pelvic inflammatory diseases, Vaginitis. Most other causes do not produce white discharges.I will advise she gets a vaginal swab smear test.This will help to identify any organism that might be causing it.With respect to the identified organism, prescription can be made.You may see a Doctor for this. Also, she needs to know not all discharges are pathologic.Just poor douching can cause it.I will advise she douches with simple clean water with no soap or detergents as these things can always upset the vaginal microbial equilibrium.
