General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are presently 45 years of age and are experiencing bleeding for a prolonged period. There's no way to know your exact menopause age until it happens, genetics plays role and some women cease to menstruate early while others may continue to even until their 60's. Before cessation of menstruation, when women are in perimenopausal phase experience irregular bleeding, prolonged bleeding, spotting, etc.

These symptoms occur due to changes in the hormonal system of the body. It is just a physiological change of the body through which all women have to go through, you need not worry. Take nutritious home made food with calcium, iron, minerals and protein, You can also take supplements. Avoid stressful lifestyle, do regular walking. You can get clinically examined by your gynecologist and get a complete medical check up done. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
