What Causes Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding While On Nexplanon Implant?

I had a baby in November last year. And in January I got the nexiplon and iv been bleeding for 3 to 5 months straight and in August I started on the 3 and stopped on September 23 and I just started again today is this normal. And I also have no sex drive.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
I think you have side effects of the implant as it cause prolonged and excessive bleeeding.
Other causes could be a pelvic inflammatory disease, vaginal infection, endometriosis, hormonal imbalance.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo reproductive hormone analysis, vaginal examination, USG scan and endometrial biopsy.
Bleeding can be reduced by the progesterone pill and tranexamic acid.
Provera progesterone can be used.
If not responds then remove the implant and use another method of contraception.
