What Causes Prolonged Light Menstrual Bleeding?
Hi, Iv had my period for 10 days including today, but it s very light not enough to full a pad or a tampon, there s no cramps or any pain associated with it. I normally have it for 5-6 days and I stop bleeding but this month has been different. What could be wrong?

Hi,
I have gone through your complaint and prolonged period could be due to hormonal changes in the body. If it the first time nothing needs to be done.
If it recurs you need to get TSH, serum prolactin levels and an ultrasound pelvis to find out its cause.
