What Causes Profuse Sweating?

I break out in sweat, and it isn't menopausal. Im usually having to rush, I.e., getting ready to go somewhere, or pressure to be ready to make an appointment. It's not just a little perspiration! It's not always with physical exertion, but if I am outside working, whether it's hot or cool outside, My body becomes dripping wet
In a short time. 1. I am over weight, but not extremely, and haven't been to the gym in a while (out of shape.)

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi

Greetings from HealthcareMagic!

I had seen your history and compliants and understood your concerns. I had seen such type of patients even before in my clinic. So hope i guide you in a better way. First of all over production of sweat is known as hyperhydrosis. Most common cause is nerves supplying sweat glands are activated unnecessarily. Other causes are secondary to some other diseases (diabetes, heart disease, obesity). Don't worry a lot because this is not a very harmful condition. It is a genetic disorder which is inherited. There is no clear cut or specific treatment. This condition is common in patients who are more emotional, stressed, anxious or nervous. As you are not obese, the cause in your case may be due activation of nerves supplying sweat . So conservative treatment is sufficient

Take Care!
