What Causes Profuse Bleeding Through Nose After Head Injury?

Hi there, since a fighting competition 6 days ago I have been bleeding out of one nostril while in the shower, and I have blood congealing inside my nose also. Would this be a side effect of concussion? I got two very hard hits to the head. Also I feel like I have some pressure behind my eye?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

Regarding your query for nasal bleeding after getting hit over head in fighting competition, as you had described the entire story it appears you sustain injury in your nose and there may be possibility of fracture of bones of nasal framework.

My suggestion is that you please consult ENT specialist for thorough examination to identify the site of bleeding and the type of injury so that treatment may be plan accordingly.

Regards.
