What Causes Pressure In The Head And Tiredness While On Amoxicillin?
Hello ... I am currently taking amoxicillin for bronchitis andd sinus infections, 500 mg caps dosage of 1 cap 3 times daily started 3 days ago .. my infections are improving but today I ve begun to experience bouts of weird symptoms especially a feeling of tightness in my head and also low energy.Is the dosage too strong and is this a normal temporary reaction? I am 77 year ol female, with a body weight of 125 lbs. I take also take other meds.... synthroid and diltiazem 120mg (12 hr extended release caps) Thanks in anticipation of your response.
As per your history is concerned please continue with your medication as prescribed by your doctor. Your problem has no relation with medications. Check your blood pressure if it is not elevated if it is normal as well as normal respiratory rate nothing to be worried and check current TSH level. Dose for antibiotics is correct and drink plenty of water after taking medications.
