What Causes Pressure In Chest While Recovering From Shingles?

I thought I was having a heart attack, however at the hospital l was diagnosed with Cosdrochondritis (chest wall pain) As l am 66 and have had severe/chronic pain with osteoarthritis, I then developed Shingles on my left side chest, about 30cm square and back over shoulder blade and under arm. The Shingles has cleared leaving scaring, however the pressure/pain from the Chest Wall is still with me, how long before this inflammation clears up?

It takes sometimes months to get relief from pain and the condition is known as post herpetic neuralgia. In severe form of shingles where scar remains, the neuralgia is also chronic. It is better to take nervine tonics to relieve this problem. However, the problem is self limiting.
