What Causes Postmenopausal Vaginal Spotting?

I am 68 years old and went through menopause in my 50s. I had a chiropractic adjustment a couple of days ago and now having spotting not really light bleeding but spotting is a little heavier than yesterday. Is this something that can happen after having an adjustment. My hip and back where really out. But they feel much better now. But am dealing with bleeding now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Postmenopausal spotting in your case certainly needs evaluation.
Firstly, you need to undergo per vaginal and per speculum examination. Following this, you may need the following investigations depending on the observations made during clinical examination.
1. PAP smear examination.
2. Cervical biopsy.
3. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
Regards,
